Hey folks, I’ve been looking into Ford Expeditions and wow, there’s a LOT to unpack. It’s like every year there’s some new feature or model tweak. Anyone else find this fascinating? Or maybe someone owns one and can share their experience?
Yeah, they’ve come a long way. I remember the early models being super boxy. Now they look more polished and have crazy tech like BlueCruise.

What’s BlueCruise? Never heard of it before.
@Linden
It’s like Ford’s version of autopilot—hands-free driving on certain highways. Pretty neat, right?
@Linden
Sounds cool but does it work well? I’ve heard mixed reviews on similar systems from other brands.
I’ve got a 2022 Expedition and love it! The towing capacity is a lifesaver when I’m hauling my camper.

Nice! How’s the fuel economy on those? I’ve been considering one but worried about gas costs.
@Onyx
Not bad for a big SUV. I get about 16 mpg in the city and 22 on the highway. The EcoBoost engine helps a bit.
@Onyx
That’s actually better than I expected. Does it feel underpowered with the EcoBoost?

Nope, plenty of power! It’s rated at 400hp in my trim and pulls my trailer with no issues.
I’m curious if the new Tremor trim is worth it. Anyone tried it out yet?

Haven’t driven it, but it looks awesome with those 33-inch tires and off-road modes. Perfect if you’re into trails.
@Eli
What’s the difference between Tremor and Timberline trims?

Tremor replaced Timberline. Tremor’s got better clearance, specialized off-road features, and beefier tires.
I’m still rocking a first-gen Expedition. It’s a tank but I’m considering upgrading. Is the ride quality that much better now?

Oh definitely. The independent suspension in newer models makes a HUGE difference. Way smoother on bumpy roads.
@Wren
Good to know! I’ll have to test drive one soon.
