That tailgate is pretty cool, right?

Looks like they’re moving away from the ‘last model Explorer’ look and taking more inspiration from the F150. The giant screens are definitely a trend, but I think the way they designed the center stack is a nice touch. Can’t wait to see the new Navigator.

That piano black tailgate is gonna be a mess. It’s going to scratch so easily and look awful in just a few months.

6 months? I don’t think it’ll last even through the delivery cleaning!

Not sure about the gauge cluster. It’d be great if it was customizable though! Maybe a setup where I can choose which gauges show up where. My wife could have just the speedometer, and I could have every gauge displayed. Also, if it synced with the seat preset, like preset 1 for her and the full gauge setup for me.

It literally looks like a GMC Sierra 1500 front end, especially with those daytime running lights.

Yeah, the rear looks exactly like a Yukon. So disappointing with how it looks.

I’m thinking about buying a new car for my wife, and we’ve narrowed it down to the Expedition. I wanted to wait for the 2025 reveal to see if she’d like the new design, but honestly, it was so underwhelming. The only real upgrade seems to be the split liftgate, which I liked on the older Blazers. But all those extra screens just mess with the interior for me. So, we’re going to Ford next weekend and ordering her a '24 XLT.

The Navigator was actually revealed 2 months ago.

That’s fancy! I wonder how much a replacement 24" cluster display costs? Still prefer the look of my 2019 special edition 4th gen though.

Are there capacitive, gloss, black, plastic buttons on the steering wheel? I saw the TFL video, and I couldn’t figure that part out.

Are the rear entertainment screens removable? That would be a nice feature if so.

It looks terrible. I wish car makers would stop trying to make things look too luxurious. Expeditions are supposed to be tough! This thing looks fragile with a bunch of useless features that will break and cost a fortune to fix. The front end looks awful, not tough at all. Makes me appreciate the older models, like the second and third generations. They were solid, with a little luxury in the higher trims. This new one is just bad.
