Are the fronts looking a little canted in the pictures, or is it ball joint time? The tires don’t seem overly worn on the inside, so maybe I’m off.

I just dropped the truck down an inch, so it needs an alignment. I think the ball joints got worn prematurely because it was overextended for a bit.

Looks great! You should add some bronze wheels to match the trim, tint the front windows, and throw on a brush guard. :saluting_face:

Bronze would look sick! My wheels are pretty banged up, and yeah, the tint is shot. :joy:

Nice! I’m about to lift my ‘03. Thinking of going 2". What did you use and what’s your tire size?

Same year as mine! I’d recommend 2.5"—it’ll still drive great and look awesome. Mine is 2.5" all around with 35x12.5x17 tires.

What’s the point if there’s no trailer hooked up? It’s just something that could cause issues.

You’d be surprised. If someone rear-ends me, it could prevent a lot of damage. But yeah, the one I have is pretty long—I should get a shorter one.

You’d think that, but I was rear-ended at a red light, and my 2" drop hitch caused crazy frame damage. If the hitch hadn’t been there, the other car’s crash bar would have hit the spare tire instead of transferring all the force to the hitch/frame.

I never leave my hitch installed anymore.
