Looks nice! You know you can get a new one for $10 though.

Yeah, but this only cost me around 37 grams of ABS plastic, so maybe half a dollar or less!

Don’t forget to count the cost of the printer!
@Cameron
I’m guessing the printer wasn’t just bought for this one part, though.

Exactly… once you have the printer, the possibilities are endless!
Looks awesome

Bet you saved a good bit too!
Definitely! It’s around $20 for the part where I live, so saving 19 bucks feels great.
@Zion
Hope it holds up over time! Honestly surprised these door handles haven’t been recalled with how often they break.

I know, right? The nice thing about 3D printing is that I can make it stronger than the original. Adjusting the infill really helps make it sturdier.
Nice! This is what makes 3D printing so cool to me… even cheap parts feel custom.

Couldn’t agree more! Being able to print custom stuff is the best part.

Just got a 3D printer myself… need to get into Blender or something to start designing my own pieces.
This looks like a Cybertruck door handle! Nice job on the design!

Haha, thanks a lot!
Hey, Amazon has them for $12 if you ever need another.

What CAD program did you use for this?
Used Blender for this one, but I usually prefer Fusion 360 for 3D printing stuff.
Looks cool!
