Just picked up my 2024 XLT Max… loving it!

After many miles with our 2017 Platinum, it finally gave out—turbo and transfer case issues hit at once. We held out to see the 2025 models but didn’t like the changes, so we went for a 2024 XLT Max 4x4 with some nice upgrades. Got a great deal, and I’m really happy with it!

Looks sharp! I was also holding out for the 2025 release to see if my wife would like it. We’re actually going tomorrow to order her a 2024 XLT too… she’s thinking of the wild green color.

The wild green looks amazing! We went with black on black since it’s hard to find the green around here.

Congrats! What kind of deal did you get?

Sticker was $79k, and we got it for $69k. Added the maintenance plan and extended bumper-to-bumper warranty, so with tax and fees, we ended up around $81k out the door. Sales tax alone was $4.5k! Not a lot of these available in our area, so we jumped on this one. Got a 6.1% rate for 72 months too, which worked for us since you can’t combine the promo rate with rebates.

Sounds like a solid deal… enjoy the new ride!

Ouch… you could’ve probably found a 2023 Platinum with low miles for less :grimacing:

You mean used, right? We wanted new, and honestly, I’m not a fan of the larger screen in the Platinums.

Monday: pick up the 2024, super excited…

Saturday: dealership says they can’t get me in until Monday to fix the airbags.

It’s amazing how these hold their value! We bought our 2021 with 0% financing, and it’s now worth more than what we owe. Did a 60-month loan at 0%. Congrats on the awesome-looking Expedition!

Any reason you didn’t go for a 2022 with low miles and a higher trim? Personally, I’d never buy brand new—you lose around 30% of the value in the first year.

I’ve always driven used cars, but now I can afford new. Plus, with the extended warranty, I won’t have to worry about anything for the next 6 years.
