Just ordered a 2025 Expedition MAX Platinum Stealth… second-guessing our color choice

We used to have a 2020 Limited Max Stealth in Charcoal, but my wife didn’t want another one in that color. Currently, we have a 2022 Limited MAX in White Diamond. She was leaning toward White Diamond again but wasn’t fully on board.

We ended up ordering a 2025 Platinum MAX in Agate Black, which was her first pick, but I was hesitant because black can be tough to keep clean. After thinking it over, we switched to Glacier Gray Metallic since it’s something a bit different for us.

The only thing is… we haven’t seen Glacier Gray in person! We’re excited to try something new, but now I’m a bit worried it might not look as good as we’re hoping. I think it just started coming out on the F350s, but I haven’t seen any around.

Anyone here with Glacier Gray? Would love to hear if you’re happy with it!

I’ve got the ‘24 version in Agate Black, and I love it. Get tons of compliments on it, though it is definitely hard to keep clean!

Ceramic coating really helps with black, though! I keep a bottle of speed shine and microfiber cloths in my Navigator to keep it looking good.

Maybe you can ask the dealer to order another in a different color so you can pick whichever one you like better when they arrive?

Had a black Expedition in 2019 and wouldn’t go for black again. It’s always dirty, and even tiny scratches show up so easily. I switched to silver on my 2021, and it’s much more forgiving.

Does it really matter? Seems like you get a new one every few years, so you can change it up again soon if needed.

Yeah, we’ve mostly done two-year leases so far, but I hear lease terms are getting longer.

Mind sharing a rough idea of what it costs to lease an Expedition for two years? Just curious!

Were you able to get it ordered at invoice price or below?

I’m also looking to get a 2025 Expedition in Agate Black, but I want to check out the new dashboard and visibility before I make my final choice.
