I have the same one in gray. Bought it new and already have 30k miles on it. Other than the stock tires being terrible in New Hampshire, this has been the best vehicle for our 3 kids and 2 dogs. Way better than the alternatives we tried.
@Remi
Good to hear! We picked this up used with 59k kilometers (Canadian). I drove 1250 kilometers to trade for it, and the drive back was amazing.
Kind of tempted to trade my 2021 tuned F150 Platinum for one of these. Would be fun to tune it and use it as my daily.

How much does the tune help with MPG? Also, I’ve heard tuning can fix the transmission issues.
@Chance
It improves MPG if you don’t lift it or use bigger tires. It also fixes gear skipping and improves shift timing. And 450 wheel horsepower on 93 octane is hard to beat.

What tune are you using?
@Yan
Livernois 91-93 performance.
That sounds awesome. I just got an 18 Max Limited, and this might be the first upgrade I go for.

Great choice! If your front windows won’t roll down on a cold morning, try pressing the power fold mirror button. That usually gets them working again. Both my wife’s 22 Expedition and my 22 F150 have this issue.
@Blair
Thanks for the tip! I’ll keep that in mind.
Looks awesome! Enjoy it.
This is almost exactly what I want to get. I currently have a 2012 Expedition Max. Are you planning to lift it and add 35s?

No, we’re keeping it stock. It’s my wife’s family car for the kids’ sports events. I have my F150 for everything else.
@Zion
What’s your F150 for, and how much more can it tow compared to the Expedition? And pavement pounder? What’s it pounding?

The Expedition is staying on the road, while the F150 handles the rougher stuff. We live in a rural area, and I wouldn’t throw a deer or moose in the back of the Expedition. Towing depends on the trip, but it’s nice having options. Pavement pounder is more of a joke because, well, it mostly sticks to the road.
@Zion
Makes sense. My dad’s truck gets scratched up too. It’s just part of using it for what it’s meant for.
Make sure you get the Ford warranty. It’s worth it.
Congrats! Looks sharp. How was the drive back? Did it feel like you got to break it in?
