Hey folks, I’m thinking about adding a carbon fiber wrap to the interior of my Expedition. What do you think about it? Should I opt for it?
Good one, just make sure to get a high-quality wrap, or it might start peeling off. If you want a more subtle look, maybe try carbon fiber trim instead.
I’m more into the OEM look. I feel like the carbon fiber might clash with the existing interior style. I went with a wood grain wrap instead—much more classic and elegant.
I also think carbon fiber looks cool, but if you want something that stands out even more, you could try a colored vinyl wrap. It adds a unique touch and is just as easy to apply.
I tried a carbon fiber wrap, but the edges started to lift after a few months. You could try a more expensive option or getting it professionally done.
When doing a carbon fiber wrap don’t forget to use a heat gun to help with the application, especially around curves. Makes a big difference.
I’ll definitely consider a high-quality wrap or pro installation to avoid the lifting issue. Thanks for the heads-up
Noted, looks super classy and def stands out, I love it…
