Anyone have a good estimate on 2024 Expedition costs?

Hi everyone, we’re looking at a new 2024 Ford Expedition XLT. It’s got the special edition and 202A equipment group, plus a moonroof and the ActiveX interior. We want to go in prepared for negotiations and would love to know what discounts others have seen recently. Since it’s year-end and the 2025s are coming, I’m hoping to get $6k-$10k off MSRP, but curious to hear what everyone else has managed to negotiate.

We just bought almost the exact same setup yesterday and ended up with $8400 off MSRP after rebates and discounts. Just a heads up – if you’re thinking about the $5000 rebate, you might have to give up some of it if you go for the lower interest rate. Dealer fees can be a pain since they usually don’t budge on those, so a lot of negotiation power will be on your trade-in and any holdback from Ford they’re willing to put in. That’s where you can really make an impact.

@Axel
Thanks, this is super helpful info, especially about the rebate. I’ll look into it more before heading in!

Hey! I work at Avis Ford. Feel free to reach out at jalen.watts@avisford.com if you’d like me to run some quotes for you.

Push for the rebate AND at least $4k-$6k off. We got $11k off MSRP on our 2024 XLT Max!

Thanks for the tip – really good to know!

We got $11,300 off MSRP on a Max Limited Stealth! That included $5k customer cash, $2k Jeep/GM cash, and a $4300 dealer discount.

Mind if I ask what your total out-the-door cost was? Also, did you go with dealer financing? I’m hoping to get that $5k customer cash while still snagging the 2.9% financing rate from Ford.

@Teo
Right now, it’s either/or on the $5k and the low-interest financing – you can’t stack them. Our out-the-door price was in the low 60s, mainly because we had equity in our trade. I plan to refinance later this winter, but the rate PNC offered through the dealer wasn’t bad. Feel free to DM if you want more details!
