Are the XLT and Limited trims really gone for the 2025 Expedition? The Active trim looks super basic, and I don’t even wanna think about how much King Ranch or Platinum will cost. Seems weird since I only ever see Limiteds around here. Did they seriously cut them?
Yeah, looks like Ford’s shifting things around. XLT’s out, but Active’s the new base. Feels like they’re pushing everyone toward the higher-end models. King Ranch pricing? I don’t even want to know.
I was surprised too when I went to a dealership, and they confirmed Limited’s gone. They’re focusing on the premium trims. Get ready to shell out if you want that King Ranch or Platinum.
Active trim feels like a downgrade from XLT, for sure. I was all set to upgrade my ‘19 XLT, but now… I don’t know. Not really feeling the Active look.
I’m sticking with my 2020 Limited, can’t beat the features at that price point. Active trim feels like buying a base model with half the stuff missing.
Man, that sucks. Seems like they’re just trying to push us into spending more. I guess I should’ve grabbed a Limited while they were still around.
I heard the same thing—XLT and Limited are gone. I’ve got a King Ranch and love it, but yeah, it cost an arm and a leg. Hope you like paying premium for the max.
Active’s basically their new entry-level, but yeah, not impressed either. I’d rather stick with a used Limited if they’ve really ditched it. Why pay double for King Ranch just for some fancy leather?
Exactly, I don’t need all the bells and whistles of a King Ranch—just want something decent without having to pay a fortune. Might have to start hunting for used Limiteds.
My 2020 XLT still runs great, and I’m not feeling the new lineup either. Seems like they’re forcing everyone toward the pricey stuff just for the name.
Totally agree. King Ranch is nice, but I’d rather spend that money on a new tent and hiking gear than on leather seats. Guess Ford wants us all to go premium or go home.
I’d rather go home
Bruh, We not going premium…
No chance mate.
