Took the Timberline out in the mud after some rain - it held up great!

Had some fun taking the Timberline out for a spin in the woods after a good rain. This thing can definitely handle itself! Trail turn assist is awesome. Not your typical “mom car” at all!

Looks awesome! I’m thinking about getting one for the family. That trim level looks really nice.

They’re actually discontinuing the Timberline trim for the ’25 models. It’s going to be called the Tremor trim now.

@Lennon
Do you know if they’ll make it in the MAX version?

The Timberline didn’t come with a MAX option. No word yet if Tremor will.

Probably not. It’s meant to be more off-road focused, and longer vehicles don’t really fit that purpose.

Edit: Crazy to think the Timberline has a shorter wheelbase than the latest Tacoma.

Are you using the stock tires? If not, what’s on there?

Thinking about KO3s for our ’22 when it’s time for a change.

We upgraded to Toyo RT Trails, and they’ve been great so far!

Not OP, but I have KO2s on my ’22 Timberline. Love them—good grip, not too loud, and as long as I keep them around 50 PSI on the highway, the mileage hit is only 1-2 mpg over the stock tires. Higher pressure does make the ride bumpier, though, especially if you don’t air down for rough terrain.

I actually didn’t plan on changing out the stock tires, but I lost one in a construction zone 1000 miles from home. No shops near Denver had the factory size, and I needed to get back, so I got a full set of 275/65R18 KO2s since it’s a common size every shop stocks. Spare is still the original, but close enough that I didn’t notice a difference when I had to use it once after picking up a screw about 15 miles from pavement. 20,000 miles in and I’m planning on KO3s next. Highly recommend switching to a more common size if you do a lot of long trips.
