That’s the exact color we were looking for but couldn’t find! Happy for you… but also kinda jealous lol

Man, I feel for you… we originally held off for the ‘25s, but when we went back for a ‘24, the wild green ones were gone. Luckily, the dealer found one in another state and made a trade. Got super lucky, but I bet you’ll find one too!
@Dakota
We ended up with a black-on-black ‘24 XLT Max last month. The deal was too good to pass up. We also waited to see the ‘25s and… yeah, didn’t love them.

Yeah, the ‘25s just don’t do it for me
@Dakota
Yours looks awesome—great color, wheels, everything. But I gotta say, the ‘25s look better in person. Just my opinion though!

Appreciate it! No hard feelings, everyone’s got their own taste. I do like the split liftgate on the ‘25s, but overall, they remind me too much of a Yukon or Tahoe. What really killed it for my wife (and me) was how they messed with the gauge cluster—it’s like they half-copied the full-screen Lincoln look. Either do the whole thing or don’t bother! Also, not a fan of the Tesla-style steering wheel… just not my thing lol.
@Dakota
Totally agree on the dash and steering wheel. Those are big misses. Also, I think only the Tremor trim has front recovery hooks now? Not a fan of that change. And no fog lights? Bad move by Ford.
@Remi
Yeah, really glad I locked in a ‘24 while I could!

Mind sharing what you paid out the door?
Man, that color is perfect! Did you get the keypad entry?

Thanks! Yeah, it has it, but it only lights up when you touch the black section on the door. Honestly, I love the lock/unlock sensors on the handle itself—super convenient. Haven’t even used the code yet!
Looks amazing! Hope you picked up the extended warranty?

Yep, got all the warranties we could. Better safe than sorry lol.

Thinking about getting a ‘24 XLT or Limited but kinda worried about the transmission issues. Is that why you got the extra warranty?
@Shawn
Yeah, from what I’ve seen, cam phasers and transmissions were the biggest concerns. But it seems like Ford sorted most of it out after 2022. Still, I’d rather have the coverage just in case. Don’t wanna deal with a huge repair bill later!
What did you pay out the door? I’m test-driving a ‘24 Limited right now. MSRP is $78K and trying to decide if it’s worth it.

We had two identical XLTs to choose from. This one was $71K, and the other was a Max with a sunroof for $78K. Ended up going with this one—couldn’t justify paying $7K more just for an extra foot of space and a sunroof that’ll probably break at some point.
@Dakota
Ah, makes sense. Just checked and realized the one I’m looking at is actually an XLT Max with a sunroof too. So I guess our MSRPs are about the same. Good to know!

Yeah, we stuck with the XLT because my wife wanted the smaller infotainment screen. It still has heated and ventilated seats and everything else we wanted. Plus, I heard a sunroof replacement costs like $10K. Didn’t seem worth the risk.
