That tailgate is actually pretty cool

Looks like they’ve moved away from the “last-gen Explorer” look and are taking more inspiration from the F-150.

They’re jumping on the big screen trend like everyone else, but I actually like how they laid out the center stack.

Really curious to see what they do with the new Navigator now.

That piano black tailgate is gonna be a scratch magnet and look awful in no time.

Six months? It won’t even survive the dealership wash! :joy:

Not sure how I feel about the gauge cluster. It’d be really cool if they let you customize it, though. Imagine being able to move widgets around—my wife could have just the speedometer while I could throw up every gauge possible when I drive.

Even better, link it to the seat presets. Hit preset 1 and it adjusts both the seat and the cluster layout.

The front end looks exactly like a GMC Sierra 1500 with those daytime running lights.

And the back looks just like a Yukon. Pretty disappointed in how it turned out.

We’re finally looking at getting a “mom-mobile” for my wife, and the Expedition was our top choice. I figured we’d wait for the ‘25 reveal to see if she liked the new look.

Total letdown. The only real upgrade I see is the split liftgate, which I liked on the older Blazers. But all these extra screens? Ruins the interior for me.

We’re heading to Ford this weekend to put in an order for a ‘24 XLT instead.

The new Navigator was revealed two months ago.

Fancy! Wonder what a replacement 24" cluster will cost. Still think my 2019 special edition 4th gen looks better.

Are those capacitive touch buttons on the steering wheel?

I saw the TFL video and got kinda confused about that.

Are those rear entertainment screens removable? If so, that’s actually a nice feature.

This thing looks awful. I wish manufacturers would stop chasing the “luxury” look and focus on making these things tough. Expeditions used to be rugged—now they just look fragile and overstuffed with tech that’s bound to break and cost a fortune to fix.

The front end is terrible, and this doesn’t look like a real SUV at all. Makes me miss the 2nd and 3rd gen models. Those had solid build quality, and the higher trims still had just enough luxury without going overboard. This? This is junk.
