Picked up some new wheels for my Expedition, but not sure about the best way to fit them. Any suggestions?
@Kai
F150 wheels sit closer to the hub, so you’ll probably need to have the rear axle ground down to fit the center cap. I did it with F150 Platinum wheels on my Expy.

I’m debating between using spacers or cutting the axle. Spacers seem less destructive, but I’m worried about alignment issues. We’re talking about just a quarter inch of spacer though.

The shop that installed my rims just used a grinder. It’s not much material to remove.
Looks great! How many miles does she have?

It’s a 2016 model, just crossed 100k this summer.

I have the same exact vehicle! A 2016 Ford Expedition Platinum Max. How long have you had it?
@Kai
I’m definitely going to check out that throttle response booster. Thanks for the heads up! I got mine new in December 2016, and it’s got over 110,000 miles now. It’s been great for family trips and Costco runs! My upgrades include a Sundown Audio NSv6 12" sub with a SIA3500.1 amp in a custom box, plus a 3000-watt RMS setup with LED lights. The rear window is Lexan, and I swapped the stock 8-inch sub. I also added 20-inch black-on-black wheels and front tint. She’s my queen (don’t tell my wife!).

The throttle response booster was a game changer for me. The factory settings make the truck feel slow off the line, probably for fuel economy. But once you boost the throttle, it feels like a different car — much lighter and more responsive. The one I recommended is super affordable, with 3 stages and 9 levels. It’s quick to install (takes 5-10 minutes) and easy to remove. I usually run mine on level 2.9, but you can always dial it back to 1.1 if you want it stock for the wife or service visits.
The popular brand is Pedal Commander. Here’s a video of a similar device being installed and tested on a newer Expedition with the same engine:
