How reliable is the 2019+ Expedition? Really worried about the transmission

Bought a 2019 Expedition Limited 4WD used with 45k miles. Now at 115k. It’s been great for the family, but I wouldn’t own it without warranty protection. We’ve had A/C repairs, heater hose replacements, and occasional transmission sloppiness. Overall, I love the truck, but it definitely needs more attention than my old Toyotas.

I have a 2018 Navigator with the same 10R80 transmission. I’ve had issues like clunking and cam phaser recalls, but warranty has covered most of it. Make sure you keep all your maintenance records.

Thanks for sharing. We actually decided to go with a new Grand Cherokee L instead. It has the ZF 8-speed transmission, and we’ve got a solid warranty. It’s my first Mopar vehicle, so fingers crossed it holds up.
