I drive a 2012 with 124k miles, and for the last 20,000 miles, there’s been this humming noise coming from the front end. I can feel the vibration through the driver-side floorboard. I’ve already replaced both front wheel hub assemblies, both calipers, brake pads, discs, and a couple of different suspension arms, but the humming is still there.
It’s not the tires; I swapped those during this time, and it didn’t change a thing. The noise doesn’t care about the road surface either—dirt, gravel, asphalt, concrete, wet, dry, snow—it sounds the same. It’s not related to RPM but is tied to wheel speed. It starts faint around 45 mph, gets louder as the speed increases, and peaks at about 80 mph. There were a couple of times it got super loud, then quieted down, but here’s the weird part: when I turn right, the noise completely disappears. When I turn left, it gets worse.
I had something similar with my '18. Turned out to be carrier bearings in the front differential and an issue with the pinion bearing in the rear differential after weeks of trying to figure it out.

Front diff is my next guess. I’ll probably dig into it this weekend. Appreciate the insight!
