I’m looking for a used Expedition MAX. Some listings don’t mention if the tow package is installed. Can I tell if it’s got the trailer reverse knob from pictures? And does the presence of the knob mean it’s also got the 3.7 gear ratio? Thanks to anyone who can help!
From what I found when I was shopping, the HD tow package does always come with the trailer knob. It took me forever to find one with the max tow and 2nd-row bucket seats though!

I think from 2022 and newer, the HD tow package doesn’t include the 3.73 eLSD anymore. You’d have to add it separately to the build.

Good to know! I guess I don’t have to worry about getting a newer model yet. Do you think the used ones will drop a lot in price once the 2025 models (new generation?) start coming out? When are they expected to deliver?

Ordering is supposed to open on October 24th, but deliveries won’t be until spring according to Ford Authority.
Yes, the knob is an indicator that the vehicle has a low-range gear selector.
