Brand New Expedition Dropped

There’s literally no reason to buy this over the GM triplets (Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban).

Why do you say that? Most reviews favor the Expedition for having more power and better MPG than GM’s V8s, and otherwise being comparable.

@Dean
I’d rather have a V8 because long term, Ford’s twin turbos WILL fail. It’s not if, but when.

Also, fuel economy doesn’t matter in something this big.

Off-road package or not, this thing is the 21st-century Country Squire.

I like that Ford and GM are realizing people want to take these full-size SUVs off-road.

A decade ago, these were strictly highway cruisers.

The only crawling this thing is gonna do is at the mall parking lot.

Honestly? It looks basically the same as the previous gen.

Oh no. It’s caught the Tesla interior disease. :weary:

Bring back the Excursion.

The split tailgate is a big deal. Glad to see it on the Expedition!

I actually like rotary shifters. They’re more space-efficient in modern cars.

That being said… why are these giant SUVs being made with tiny cargo areas?!

Rental fleets are gonna eat this up.

$475 a day to drive this from the hotel to Disney and back. :joy:

Someone said the rear looks like a Buick Rendezvous, and now I can’t unsee it.

It looks 12 yards long and two lanes wide.

I guess it’s 65 tons of American pride. :us::joy:

I can’t wait for the trend of screens replacing physical controls to die.

I’ll wait for Savagegeese on YouTube to review this.

Their Explorer review title was literally:

“Who is responsible for this?” :joy:
