Bought a 2018 Ford Expedition… it’s been a nightmare for a year. What can we do?

Wait until the SYNC screen, wheel bearings, heater core, and transmission fail at 100k miles. Then the turbos at 150k.

Haha, I’d love to make it to 100k with this thing!

Sounds like it needs a new engine. I’ve seen this happen when there’s an internal oil pressure loss.

I have the same model year, and my extended warranty has saved me almost $20k in repairs. The reliability on these is awful. I had similar issues plus moonroof repairs and running boards failing. Hang in there!

I’ve had two 3.5 Ecoboost engines with over 100k miles each and no issues. But my 7.3 Godzilla engine in an F350? I’m already on my second one—it blew up at 26k miles.

You bought someone else’s lemon, unfortunately.

Lemon laws vary by state. In some states, used cars sold ‘as is’ can’t be claimed under lemon laws, even with a warranty. Check your state’s laws. If lemon laws don’t apply, trade it in somewhere other than Carvana or Carmax.
