Thinking about putting 33s on our Expedition but keeping the suspension stock. Anyone tried this and got pics or advice?
Check out the Ready Lift leveling kit. I’m running 305/55/20s on Fuel wheels (20x9 +1 offset). They stick out just a bit past the fender and give an aggressive look.

I’ve thought about it, but it’s my wife’s car. Your setup sounds awesome though!

Fair enough. Luckily, my wife’s into it. I also added an S&B cold air intake and upgraded the turbos to super cores, bumped it up by 90 HP.
@Ren
Any tunes available to go with that?

Yeah, just search around depending on what you’re looking for. Summit Racing or Jegs are great for this stuff. They’ll help you figure it out.
Bilstein 5100s can lift it 2 inches and improve the ride. They make a specific kit for the Expy. Avoid leveling kits if you plan to haul passengers or tow, since the rake is there for a reason. 33s with a slight lift is the perfect balance.
If it’s mainly your wife’s car, sticking closer to stock might be better. She might not want to deal with handling changes from a lift.

True. My F-150 handles the off-road stuff. The Expy is our family ride—practical but still looks cool. Believe it or not, we almost went with a Kia Carnival before getting this.
What’s the clearance like compared to stock? I want more height between the rim and tread but heard clearance could be an issue. Also, is yours 2WD? What rim size?

Stock was 32”. The new setup is 33.4”, which works great with factory suspension. Mine’s 4WD, and the rims are 20x9.
@Zadie
That’s similar to my ‘07 EB stock setup (275/55R20, I think). Can you adjust the speedometer with Forscan?
How’s the ride and noise compared to stock?

Feels close to stock, just a bit higher. There’s a slight hum from the tires, but nothing annoying.
I used to have Raptor take-offs before lifting mine. They fit fine and only rubbed a little.

Aren’t Raptor tires 35s?

Close—technically 34s, but I just tell people 35s. Who’s counting?
What’s your tire size? Are those on 18-inch rims?

275/60/20.
Looks similar to the Timberline setup from the factory.
