Anyone figured out how to fix the armrest on a 2024 Expedition?

Just got a 2024 Expedition and realized the center armrest doesn’t slide forward or backward. For me, this is an issue since I have back problems and use it for support. My shoulder ends up stretched back to use it, which is pretty uncomfortable.

I’ve seen this extender recommended on this forum, but I’m not sure if it’s the right fit. Some say it’s too close or doesn’t last. Anyone know a better solution?

Here’s the link to the one I found: https://www.amazon.com/CDEFG-Extender-Organizer-Adjustable-Universal/dp/B07YDJL5QC/?th=1

Have you tried adjusting the steering wheel and pedals? Seems like something to check before buying.

I did, but it’s not ideal. The pedals angle upward, so moving them back too far doesn’t really work well unless you’re taller.

The extender might look odd, but it probably works. I added a pad to my F-150 and Expedition. Wish Ford added more padding, though. Durable, but it feels hard over time.

Yeah, I get durability, but at this price, not having adjustability is annoying. I ordered the one from my link and just installed it. Doesn’t look amazing, but it works and is cheap enough to replace if needed.

This is an analysis bot checking reviews for the armrest extender:

  • Product: CDEFG Armrest Support Pad
  • Amazon Rating: 3.9 stars
  • Fakespot Grade: B

Looks like reviews are mostly legit, but keep an eye out for quality issues. Link to analysis

Why not just trade it for a 2025?

Haha, no way. Just got this one. Installed that Amazon armrest today, and it’s working fine so far.
